Itinerary

Day 1 Sun: Windjana Gorge

Depart Broome at 8.00am. Travel to Derby to see the Boab Prison Tree. Inspect the unusual formation at Tunnel Creek. Continue to Windjana Gorge. Tonight enjoy a welcome drink with your crew and fellow travellers.

Bush Camp: Windjana Gorge. (LD)

Day 2 Mon: Kimberley Gorges

Cross the King Leopold Range today and travel along the Gibb River Road. Explore a gorge, with time for a refreshing swim.

Bush Camp: Manning Gorge Area. (BLD)

Day 3 Tue: El Questro

Travel through some of the most rugged terrain in the Kimberley, crossing the Durack River en route to El Questro Wilderness Park.

Camp: El Questro Wilderness Park, 2 nights. (BLD)

Day 4 Wed: Emma Gorge

Enjoy a guided walk through Emma Gorge this morning. The afternoon will be free for you to select from optional tours or perhaps simply relax at El Questro Wilderness Park. (BLD)

Day 5 Thu: Kununurra

Observe the magnificent scenery of the Cockburn Range en route to Parry Lagoon Nature Reserve, where you join the Kimberley Dreamtime Experience. Travel to Wyndham to the spectacular 5 Rivers Lookout. This afternoon travel to the town of Kununurra.

Camp: Kimberleyland Caravan Park, Kununurra. (BLD)

Day 6 Fri: Ord River

This morning join an adventure cruise along the Ord River from Kununurra to Lake Argyle. Visit the historic Durack Homestead, before continuing across the border into the Northern Territory.

Bush Camp: Victoria River Area. (BLD)

Day 7 Sat: Katherine Gorge

Travel east along the Victoria Highway to Katherine Gorge. Enjoy a late afternoon cruise on this magnificent waterway.

Camp: Katherine Gorge National Park. (BLD)

Day 8 Sun: Edith Falls

Travel through the township of Katherine en route to Edith Falls. Spend time enjoying the tropical atmosphere and perhaps have a refreshing swim. Journey via Adelaide River to Darwin, arriving at approximately 5.00pm. You will transferred to Darwin Airport to connect with your onward flight (flights to depart after 6.00pm). (BL)
