Day 1 Tue: Arrive Darwin
On arrival in Darwin you will be transferred to your hotel. This afternoon join a tour
of the city. Enjoy a welcome drink with your Tour Director.

Day 2 Wed: Katherine Gorge
Head south towards Katherine. Stop at the Adelaide River War Cemetery and cruise
through Katherine Gorge.

Day 3 Thu: Ord River Cruise
Travel to Lake Argyle. Cruise on the Ord River to Kununurra.

See the Ord River Irrigation Scheme and Hidden Valley National Park. (B)
Day 5 Sat: Wyndham
 This morning
travel to Parry Lagoon Nature Reserve. Continue to the 5 Rivers Lookout, then on to El
Questro.

Day 6 Sun: El Questro
Cruise through Chamberlain Gorge. At Emma Gorge Resort there is time to sit by the pool
or to hike into Emma Gorge for a refreshing swim. (B)
Day 7 Mon: Argyle Diamond Mine
Today visit the Argyle Diamond Mine for a guided tour of the world's largest diamond
mine. Continue to Halls Creek.

Day 8 Tue: Geikie Gorge
Travel to Fitzroy Crossing. This afternoon enjoy a cruise through Geikie Gorge.

Day 9 Wed: Derby – Broome
Travel to the port of Derby and see the famous Boab Prison Tree, before continuing to
tropical Broome.

Enjoy a day at leisure in Broome. Opposite the hotel is Cable Beach. (B)
Day 11 Fri: Port Hedland
Skirt the edge of the Great Sandy Desert to Port Hedland, a major shipping port.

Day 12 Sat: Newman
Travel via Marble Bar to Newman. Accommodation: Seasons Hotel, Newman. (B)
Day 13 Sun: Karijini National Park
We will enjoy a morning guided tour of the Mount Whaleback Mine. Journey into Karijini
National Park, then continue to Tom Price.

Day 14 Mon: North West Cape
Today visit Giralia Station. This afternoon travel to Exmouth on the boundary of the
Ningaloo Marine Park.

Day 15 Tue: Ningaloo Reef
Travel to Coral Bay and join a sub-sea viewer over the Ningaloo Reef, Western
Australia's largest coral reef. Continue to Monkey Mia.

See the dolphins come ashore this morning. (Note: As dolphins are wild their appearance

View the spectacular, mystical Pinnacles. Continue to Yanchep National Park where

Enjoy a guided tour of Perth. (B)
Day 20 Sun: Perth - Margaret River
This morning stop at the Forest Heritage Centre. Ride on the 'Over the Sea' train and
visit the Underwater Observatory in Busselton. Continue to Margaret River.

Day 21 Mon: Margaret River
See Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, then enjoy a tour, tastings and lunch at Voyager Estate.

View the enormous Gloucester Tree, journey through the spectacular Valley of the Giants
and enjoy a walk along the Tree Top Walk. Continue to Torndirrup National Park, then visit
the Whaleworld Museum.

Day 23 Wed: Albany - Esperance
Visit the War Memorial, then travel to Bluff Knoll Lookout in the Stirling Ranges.
Continue to Esperance and see the Pink Lake.

Day 24 Thu: Cape Le Grand
This morning travel into Cape Le Grand National Park. Travel north to Kalgoorlie. Stop
at the Golden Superpit Lookout and enjoy an orientation tour of Kalgoorlie.

Day 25 Fri: Kalgoorlie
Visit the Mining Hall of Fame and the Royal Flying Doctor Service for a guided tour. (B)

then on to Fremantle.
