Highlights Lake Argyle Cruise El
Questro Wilderness Park
Day 1: Arrive Kununurra
Clients arriving by air will be transferred to the hotel. Today is at leisure to
explore the frontier town of Kununurra. Accommodation: Country Club Hotel, Kununurra, 2
nights.
Day 2: Kununurra Lake Argyle Ord River
Join a cruise and explore the rugged beauty of the northern end on Lake Argyle, and
learn about the history and development of the Ord River Irrigation Scheme. Later visit
the historic Durack Homestead. After lunch (own expense) you will cruise along the Ord
River and through magnificent Carlton Gorge, before returning to Kununurra at
approximately 5.30pm. Afternoon tea included.
Day 3: El Questro Wilderness Park
An early start today as you head west along the Gibb River Road to experience a remote
wilderness 'outback' property, spanning over one million acres. Nestled within the
Cockburn Range and on the eastern border of the Kimberley, this working cattle station
offers a rare holiday experience. Explore the area at your leisure in the afternoon.Accommodation:
El Questro Wilderness Park choice of accommodation.
Day 4: Depart Kununurra
In the morning or afternoon transfer back to Kununurra or Kununurra airport. Tour
concludes on arrival. Flight must be booked to depart after 10.30am (airfare not included
in tour price). |
