Itinerary

Day 1 Fri: Launceston/Grindelwald

On arrival at Launceston Airport you will be met by your Tour Director (flights to arrive prior to 1.00pm). This afternoon enjoy an orientation tour of Launceston, then visit the Swiss Village of Grindelwald. Tonight enjoy a welcome drink with your Tour Director.

Accommodation: Sandor's On The Park, Launceston.

Day 2 Sat: Freycinet National Park

Travel to the East Coast through lush rainforest and magnificent scenery around the Weldborough Pass. Continue to Freycinet National Park to visit the Interpretation Centre, then enjoya Ranger led walk along the boardwalk. This afternoon continue south along the coast for spectacular views of Maria Island.

Day 3 Sun: Port Arthur/ Hobart

Travel via Swansea, Copping and along the Tasman Peninsula to the Port Arthur Historic Site, Australia's most infamous convict prison. At the Interpretation Gallery play the 'Lottery of Life' and follow the journey of a convict to see what fate lies ahead. Join a guided walking tour of the grounds and ruins, followed by a cruise around the Isle of the Dead. Visit the spectacular natural coastal formations of Tasman's Arch, Devils Kitchen and the Blowhole.

Day 4 Mon: Depart Hobart

Your tour concludes after breakfast this morning. You will be transferred to Hobart Airport to connect with your onward flight (flight to depart anytime). (B)
