Breathtaking, rugged rock formations await in the Grampians, an ancient mountain range formed millions of years ago.

• Travel west of Melbourne through the famous goldmining town of Ballarat. See historical buildings and magnificent gardens and hear of famous stories.
• See dairy and sheep farms, and distant views of the spectacular Grampians.
• The sedimentary rock formations of the Grampians were created over 300 million years ago.
• Sharp cliff faces create an outstanding visual impact.
• Lunch stop in Halls Gap (own expense), a lovely town at the base of the Ranges.
• Visit the breathtaking Borooka Lookout, then to Reids Lookout (Jaws of Death), an easy grade walk.
• See the spectacular MacKenzie Falls. Walk the 400 steps.
• See the friendly kangaroos at Zumsteins.
• Brief meal stop (own expense) before returning to Melbourne
