Itinerary

Highlights   • Uluru (Ayers Rock) • Great Barrier Reef

Day 1: Uluru (Ayers Rock) – Kata Tjuta (Olgas)

On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel (flight to arrive prior to 1.00pm). Tour Kata Tjuta, before viewing sunset at Uluru. Accommodation: Desert Gardens Hotel, Ayers Rock Resort.

Day 2: Uluru (Ayers Rock) – Kings Canyon

A choice in the morning of the Uluru Sunrise, Climb and Base (Y18) or Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Base Walk (Y41). Travel to Kings Canyon Resort. Accommodation: Kings Canyon Resort – Rangeview Rooms.

Day 3: Kings Canyon – Alice Springs

This morning climb to the rim of Kings Canyon. Alternatively, you may wish to explore the canyon floor. Later travel to Alice Springs.
Accommodation: Alice Springs Resort.

Day 4: Alice Springs – Cairns

Morning is at your leisure before your transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairns (flights not included in tour price). On arrival your transfer to the hotel is included. Free afternoon in Cairns. Accommodation: Oasis Resort, Cairns, 2 nights.

Day 5: Great Barrier Reef

Cruise out to the magnificent Outer Barrier Reef, where there is time for swimming, snorkelling (equipment provided) and coral viewing. A delicious buffet lunch is included. (L)

Day 6: Depart Cairns

You will be transferred to the airport (flight not included in tour price).

Note: During the hotter months, the Kings Canyon rim climb may not be available. An alternative itinerary may apply.
