Day 1: Kata Tjuta (Olgas) – Uluru (Ayers Rock)

On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport we transfer you to your hotel (flight into Ayers Rock Airport prior to 1.00pm). This afternoon explore Walpa Gorge at Kata Tjuta, then travel to the sunset viewing area to enjoy nibbles and a glass of wine while watching the sunset at Uluru. Accommodation: Ayers Rock Resort – choice of accommodation.

On Day 1 there is the option to upgrade from the afternoon Kata Tjuta and Uluru Sunset Tour (Y13) to the Kata Tjuta Valley of the Winds Walk, Sunset and Barbecue Dinner Tour (Y14), at an extra cost.

Day 2: Uluru (Ayers Rock)

This morning there is the option to do the Uluru Sunrise, Climb and Base Tour (Y18) or for the non-climbers, the Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Base Walk (Y41). Both tours include sunrise at Uluru, a visit to Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. The first option allows time for climbing, whilst the second option includes a longer guided walk at the base of Uluru. You may have time for an optional scenic flight (own expense). In the afternoon you will be transferred to Ayers Rock Airport for your flight. Flights must be booked to depart after 1.30pm (flight not included in tour price).
