Day 1: Ayers Rock Resort

On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport we transfer you to your hotel. This afternoon is available for you to explore Uluru – Kata Tjuta National Park. You may wish to book an AAT Kings Touring Pass (own expense).

Accommodation: Ayers Rock Resort – choice of accommodation.

Day 2: Ayers Rock Resort – Kings Canyon

This morning is at your leisure to continue with touring or activities (own expense). This afternoon travel to Kings Canyon Resort.

Accommodation: Kings Canyon Resort – Spa Rooms (YA41S), Rangeview Rooms (YA41F, YA41C, YA41R).

Day 3: Kings Canyon – Alice Springs

This morning commence the 3 hour guided walk around the canyon, where you will be rewarded with marvellous views of Watarrka National Park (for those with a good level of fitness). Alternatively, take the easier 1.5 hour walk along the boulder-strewn canyon floor. In the afternoon travel to Alice Springs.

Accommodation: Alice Springs Resort – Rivergum Rooms (YA41S) or Standard Rooms (YA41F, YA41C, YA41R)

Note: During the hotter months, the Kings Canyon rim climb may not be available in hot weather conditions. An alternative itinerary including guided walks at Kathleen Springs and along the Kings Canyon creek-bed floor may apply.

Day 4: Alice Springs

Today is at your leisure. You may like to book an AAT Kings half-day or full-day tour (own expense).
