Itinerary
Day 1 Sat: Arrive Darwin
On arrival in Darwin you will be transferred to your hotel.
Accommodation: Darwin Central Hotel, Darwin.
Day 2 Sun: Kakadu National Park
Join your local AAT Kings Driver/Guide this morning. Travel across the Adelaide River
and Marrakai Plains, deep into Kakadu National Park. View ancient Aboriginal art at
Nourlangie Rock. At Cooinda, we join a wildlife cruise on Yellow Water Billabong. Visit
the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre. Accommodation: Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn,
Jabiru. (BL)
Day 3 Mon: Kakadu Darwin
This morning view rock
art at Ubirr. Join the Guluyambi Cruise along the East Alligator River. We have an
Aboriginal guide with us and with the special permission of the local people, we will be
able to go ashore in Arnhem Land. Visit the Bowali Visitor Centre, before returning to
Darwin.

Day 4 Tue: Darwin
Time at leisure this morning before you join your Tour Director for a sightseeing tour
of Darwin. Visit the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. Tonight enjoy a
welcome drink. (B) 
Day 5 Wed: Katherine Gorge
Bid farewell to the Northern Capital as we head towards Katherine. Stop at the Adelaide
River War Cemetery before we continue past the gold mining town of Pine Creek. In Nitmiluk
National Park we cruise through Katherine Gorge.

Day 6 Thu: Ord River Cruise
Travel across vast cattle stations into Western Australia. See Lake Argyle, Australia's
largest man-made lake. Join an adventure cruise along the Ord River, from Lake Argyle to
Kununurra.
Accommodation: Country Club Hotel, Kununurra, 2 nights. (BL) 
Day 7 Fri: Kununurra
After breakfast enjoy a tour of Kununurra. See the results of the Ord River Irrigation
Scheme and explore Hidden Valley National Park. (B)

Day 8 Sat: Kimberley Dreamtime Wyndham
This morning travel to
Parry Lagoon Nature Reserve. Your Aboriginal hosts will welcome you to the Kimberley in a
traditional ceremony. See the bird life of this region and learn about traditional
lifestyles. Continue to El Questro Wilderness Park, spanning over one million acres.

Day 9 Sun: El Questro Wilderness Park
Enjoy a cruise along the Chamberlain Gorge. At Emma Gorge Resort there is time this
afternoon to sit by the pool or hike into Emma Gorge for a refreshing swim in the
waterhole. Your Tour Director will be able to assist you in booking any options. (B)

Day 10 Mon: Argyle Diamond Mine
Today visit the Argyle Diamond Mine. A local guide will join us for a behind the scenes
look at the diamond mining process. Continue south to the isolated town of Halls Creek.

Day 11 Tue: Geikie Gorge
Travel through the Kimberley to the remote township of Fitzroy Crossing. This afternoon
cruise along spectacular Geikie Gorge. Be sure to look out for crocodiles and sawfish.

Day 12 Wed: Broome
Travel to the port of Derby and see the famous Boab Prison Tree, before continuing to
the pearling centre of Broome. See Chinatown and Streeters Jetty where pearling luggers
unload their harvest of oysters.

Day 13 Thu: Broome at leisure
Enjoy your day at leisure exploring this tropical hideaway. (B)
Day 14 Fri: Depart Broome
Your tour concludes this morning after breakfast. You will be transferred to Broome
