Itinerary

Day 1 Fri: Arrive Alice Springs

On arrival in Alice Springs you will be transferred to your hotel. This afternoon is free for you to explore this unique outback town at your leisure.

Accommodation: Alice Springs Resort, Alice Springs.

Day 2 Sat: Alice Springs – Uluru (Ayers Rock)

Depart Alice Springs early this morning for the journey to Ayers Rock Resort. Stop at a camel farm for an optional ride en route and view majestic Mt. Conner. This evening enjoy a glass of wine and nibbles as you watch the spectacular colours of sunset over Uluru.

Day 3 Sun: Uluru (Ayers Rock) – Kata Tjuta (Olgas)

This morning you may wish to join an early tour to view sunrise over Uluru.

Enjoy a guided walk into Mutitjulu Waterhole and stop at the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre.

You may wish to join a local Aboriginal guide for the famous Liru Walk through bushland. This afternoon visit Kata Tjuta (Olgas) and walk into Walpa Gorge. Enjoy sunset with a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a delicious barbecue dinner under the stars. (B) (HD)

Day 4 Mon: Kings Canyon

Travel to Kings Canyon today. For the energetic, a guided climb to the Canyon rim will be rewarded with magnificent views of Watarrka National Park. Alternatively, you may prefer to explore the boulder-strewn Canyon floor.

Day 5 Tue: Alice Springs

Leaving Watarrka National Park behind, we travel through to Alice Springs. See the sights of Alice Springs including the Royal Flying Doctor Service, School of the Air and the Telegraph Station. We stop for panoramic views from Anzac Hill.

Day 6 Wed: Aboriginal Culture – Alice Springs Desert Park

This morning spend time with a local Aboriginal guide on a Desert Discovery Tour to gain an understanding of their unique culture. This afternoon we travel to Standley Chasm, Simpsons Gap and visit the Alice Springs Desert Park. (B)

Day 7 Thu: Depart Alice Springs

Your tour concludes today after breakfast. You will be transferred to Alice Springs Airport for your onward flight. (B)
