Day 1: Darwin – Kakadu

This morning we join the famous Jumping Crocodile Cruise, where your local guide will entice crocodiles to leap from the water. Enjoy lunch before continuing to Kakadu National Park. Visit the Bowali Visitors Centre. There is time for an optional scenic flight (own expense). Enjoy a guided walk to view rock art and then to the top of Ubirr for great views. Accommodation: Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn, Aurora Kakadu or Kakadu Lodge. (L)

Day 2: Kakadu – Katherine

Take a guided walk at Nourlangie Rock to view Aboriginal rock art. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre and view the informative exhibits and displays. After lunch join a cruise on Yellow Water Billabong. This afternoon travel to Katherine. Accommodation: Mercure Inn, Katherine. (L)

Day 3: Katherine – Darwin

Cruise through Katherine Gorge and be amazed by its sheer sandstone cliffs. Inspect the National Park Information Centre. Continue to the beautiful setting of Edith Falls, where there is time to take a refreshing swim (conditions permitting). Visit the Adelaide River War Cemetery, before returning to Darwin.

Note: A reasonable level of mobility is required

Departs:   7.30am Tue & Sat (May – Oct) from Darwin (or earlier from your hotel)

Returns:   6.00pm approximately to Darwin
