Itinerary

Day 1 Sat: Sydney

Depart Sydney at 8.00am. Travel to Darlington Point. This evening enjoy a welcome drink with your crew. Camp: Darlington Point. (D)

Day 2 Sun: Riverina

Continue to Hay, then stop in Mildura, before travelling to Renmark. Camp: Renmark. (BLD)

Day 3 Mon: Barossa Valley

This morning travel through the Barossa Valley for a winery tour and tastings. Free afternoon to explore Adelaide. Accommodation: Corus Grosvenor. (B)

Day 4 Tue: Flinders Ranges

Journey through the Flinders Ranges National Park to Wilpena Pound. Camp: Wilpena Pound. (BLD)

Day 5 Wed: Wilpena Pound

Discover the walking trails around Wilpena Pound. Travel north to the remote town of Marree. Camp: Marree. (BLD)

Day 6 Thu: Coober Pedy

Stop briefly at the southern end of Lake Eyre, before travelling along the Oodnadatta Track to Coober Pedy. Accommodation: Coober Pedy. (BLD)

Day 7 Fri: Uluru (Ayers Rock)

Cross the border into the Northern Territory. Tonight enjoy a glass of wine and nibbles while watching Uluru (Ayers Rock) at sunset. Camp: Ayers Rock Resort, 2 nights. (BLD)

Day 8 Sat: Kata Tjuta (Olgas)

Morning climb to the summit of Uluru, followed by a guided base walk. Alternatively, you may prefer to join the famous Liru Walk. This afternoon visit Kata Tjuta (Olgas). (BD)

Day 9 Sun: Kings Canyon

Climb to the rim of Kings Canyon for views of Watarrka National Park. Camp: Kings Creek Station. (BLD)

Day 10 Mon: Alice Springs

Visit the West MacDonnell Ranges. On arrival in Alice Springs enjoy an orientation tour including panoramic views from Anzac Hill . Camp: Alice Springs, 2 nights. (BLD)

Day 11 Tue: Alice Springs

A free day to explore Alice Springs. Perhaps join the Red Centre Dreaming Dinner and Show. (B)

Day 12 Wed: Depart Alice Springs

You will be transferred to Alice Springs Airport to connect with your onward flight (flights anytime). (B)
